Vanessa Michel, O.D.
Vanessa Michel, OD was raised in Spokane, Washington. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Eastern Washington University in 1999. She then moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2004.
Dr. Michel has extensive experience in family eye care, including pediatric eye examinations, contact lens fitting, eye surgery co-management and adult eye care. She also received training in Chicago in the areas of geriatric eye care and ocular disease management. This broad range of expertise sets her apart among other optometrists. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
She spends her free time with her husband & two children and also enjoys running, horseback riding, and taking her dog to the park.
Eden Weldetnsae, O.D.
Dr. Eden Weldetnsae is a Seattle native. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Washington. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Through her various clinical experiences, Dr. Eden had the opportunity to develop clinical skills in vision therapy, pediatric eye care, ocular disease, low vision, and contact lenses.
She enjoys providing quality patient-centric eye care. With her rich background she can provide comprehensive eye exams in English, Spanish, and Tigrinya. She also loves giving back to the community and has served in several mission trips providing care for communities in need in the states and abroad. In addition, Dr. Eden has a passion for vision therapy and enjoys helping patients gain functional binocular vision, so they can do well in school, work and throughout life.
Dr. Eden is also a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
When not at the office, Dr. Eden loves spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys running and the outdoors.
Heather has over 17 years of experience in the optical field and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, San Diego in Physiology and Neuroscience. Having been an optical lab manager and lead optician, she can provide the knowledge you need for your specific vision experience. Her favorite part of being an optician is staying on top of fun, new eyewear styles and brands to give you that frame that everyone will be asking about.
Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Romeo and Carlos, exploring the beautiful state of Washington.
Kaitlyn has worked in corporate and private practice optometry for the last 4 years. She truly enjoys helping you choose the right frame to perfectly showcase your unique fashion. You may also meet Kaitlyn and experience her calm and kind presence when pretesting before meeting the doctor and for contact lens training.
Kaitlyn likes to spend time at home with her kitty Hatchi. She finds joy and relaxation by playing guitar and jamming out with her friends.
